This hidden gem is next to H Mart, a little Korean Restaurant that was packed full when my fiancé and I came in for a late lunch.
We luckily snagged the last table and water was served right away. Each table was packed with food that looked delicious and large portions - especially the fried chicken we saw.
I ordered the Spicy Seafood Tofu Stew in Mild. The spice level was just perfect and the soup had a lot of richness and strong seafood flavour - probably because it was overfilling with squid, clams, scallops and veggies. The tofu was soft and perfect. The portion was in a large cast iron bowl that kept everything hot until the end.
My finacé ordered the Pork Back Bone Hangover Soup - it definitely hit the spot for him post-wedding day! Lots of meat on the pork bone and plenty of spice and flavour to keep him happy.
We especially loved the Banchan. The marinated sweet potatoes were our favourite! Tender potatoes in a delicious sauce. The fried cakes were great and the sweet, spicy cucumbers and onions were a nice change. And of course, kimchi was included and tasted as it should. What's even greater? Free refills on banchan!
Service was really efficient and nice, considering how busy they were, they definitely kept up with everything.
Loved it all, we will definitely be back, and that large plate of fried chicken has our name on it! -

This is a good Korean Chinese food option in the area. We ordered a combo D with black bean noodles, seafood pancake, fried dumplings and jap-chae.
Overall, most of the food arrived in reasonable time. The staff forgot the seafood pancake so we received complimentary pop for the error and the delay. Food was tasty although I have had better black bean noodles elsewhere.
The restaurant can get pretty busy on the weekend. I highly recommend making reservations if you are a group larger than four. There was an automatic 15% gratuity added for large groups. -

Yummy food. Great atmosphere. Welcoming staff.
This restaurant made me feel like I was back in Korea again. Amazing hospitality, food ready less than 5-10 mins after ordering. Offered refills on my side dishes (yum!) and large portion sizes potentially big enough for 2 to share with an extra rice bowl.
This place is a hidden gem for sure but I love it! -

I'm a huge fan of this restaurant. Food is delicious! Their galbitang is definitely one of the best tasting i've had. Atmosphere is relaxed, restaurant is clean. All in all, a solid place for Korean food.

This is our regular Korean restaurant, we usually just get the dinner combo a or b and if we are really hungry we add the streamed dumplings as well.
The service is really friendly and fast.
